West Side Story at The Rhodes Arts Complex

I had the distinct pleasure of photographing a fabulous production of Arthur Laurents’ West Side Story last night, adapted by Phoenix Theatre Arts. The Show opens tonight at the Rhodes Arts Complex in Bishops Stortford.

It’s a tricky one for the smaller stage, but with some excellent choreography the cast have made a fantastic job of it, all the while carrying Leonard Berstein’s compositions off beautifully.

All in all, it’s definitely one to watch!

The show runs from the 19th-28th September. Click the link below to purchase tickets:

Oxjam Cambridge: TeenJam 2014

It was my distinct pleasure to photograph TeenJam. The winner of this epic battle of the bands won a slot on the bill of the Oxjam festival. I was amazed at the talent on show, some of the best work I’ve ever heard from under 18’s.

The competition was stiff and varied from the poppy beats of Joseph Peacock, soul searching songs of John Chisham, to the foot and finger tapping talents of Soham De and finally the Jazzy grooves and licks of Moonfreak.

Below are a handful of shots taken by yours truly on the night, but first I must offer my congratulations to joint winners Moonfreak and Soham De, a well deserved accolade for whom the opportunity of a lifetime awaits. Good luck and be sure to enjoy it guys.
