Judy needed cheering up having had a bit of a rough time lately so I decided to make her a present, one that would make her smile and (hopefully laugh). I had picked up the idea from a magazine a couple of months ago and decided to try it for myself: a series of portraits made into a contact sheet. I twisted the idea into Rankin-esque self-portraits, I took about 50 and chose 9, made a template and then pieced them together in photoshop. Each photo was taken with the same settings to make the result uniform. The result is below!

Shooting information
Camera Settings: 50mm, f/9.0, 1/100sec, ISO200.
Lighting: 2 Pro line Apollo180 studio flashes. The 1st on 1/2 power with 6in silver reflector fired onto a white background from appx 0.6m and immediately behind my head. The other squarely towards my face at a 45degree downward angle, from appx 1.5m away on 1/4 power. Both fired wirelessly.
